Final Thoughts from Mary and Ginger!

What a great trip! Now we seem to have forgotten how hot it was, how our bodies felt tired, how the food wasn't as nice as we had planned etc. etc.,etc.... What we remember is how the people from FBLOL worked so hard, not only on the trip ( with no complaints) but in preparation to go on the trip. Denise Peterson is amazing to be able to plan like she does. What fun it was to be with some old friends and make new ones. What a talented bunch of young people! We remember all the helpers we had in the kitchen, those that cleaned the tables, washed dishes, filled water bottles, carried and lifted stuff for us, and especially, Rick, Tina and Suzy who, when they could have found a few minutes to rest, chose to come in the kitchen and help us....Not just once but over and over again. Thank you all! We remember the joy in making new Nationals Friends. What a sweet, precious, and beautiful people they are. What a blessing we have in Christian followship ! It doesn't matter what country you are from; we are all strangers and pilgrims in this world. We remember the beautiful faces of all those children laughing and playing at VBS. Knowing many of them trusted Christ as Savior and now have the benefit of the Holy Spirit to lead them. Pray for them that they will know they are set apart; that God will use them. We remember the youth rally and all those teenagers singing beautiful praises to the Lord, how glorious they sounded! And the kids at the children's home; there little bodies clean and healthy, Surrounded by people who love them; so thankful for the gifts they received! We are so thankful for the folks back home who were praying for us. On the one day our feet started to hurt so badly, I sent a message to our Pastor asking him to remind people to pray. They did and the pain went away. Yes, it was hot and hard; and We got on people's nerves, and one or two got on ours; but we are so thankful we went and would do it all over again! The Lord has blessed us beyond words! Mary and Ginger
