We have survived a great VBS week at our home church First Baptist! 410 different kids from 4 years old to 5th grade. Our fabulous and busy VBS week was followed by our Saturday "All Day Meeting."
What do you do at an all day meeting?
1. Go over last minute details.
2. Learn how to twist balloons, taught by Paul
3. Do all the skits one last time.
4. practice opening assembly once more.
5. Play games and goof around while poor Sarah Beth tries to teach us how to help run them
6. Listen to Pastor Willis update us on the teen rally.
7. Have a great pot-luck lunch.
8. Pack. Weigh suitcases. Repack. Tag. Repeat 30 times.
9. Have a serious time of prayer together.
10. Thank Mr. Wei for spraying all our clothes with
mosquito repellant!
11. Clean up the mess you made doing the above things.

We have been given many suitcases, in a great variety of conditions.
I find this one amusing!

You can dress em up, but you just can't take em anywhere....

Rick goes into character as "Pedro el Pirata!"
I've spent all day doing last minute things, organizing and getting ready. I know everyone on the team has has worked hard to get ready to go. They've paid a lot of money, attended bunches of meetings, learned 10 songs in Spanish, and then fulfilled their specific duties. I can't wait to see what God will do with this great group of 29!
Tomorrow we meet at the church at 4:15 AM!
Yikes. Better go to bed.

87 suitcases! I thought our 28 was stressful! Praying for you, and excited to follow along!
