Friday, June 24

                  Meet at the church at 4:30 a.m. 

                  We arrive (Lord willing) in San Pedro Sula, Honduras at 11:30.

                  Start first VBS 2:30

                  Pray for safety, on time flights, that all our luggage arrives with us, and that we get to church in time to start VBS! This is our Plan B.  Plan A was dropped when the gov’t changed the scheduled week of vacation. Game time is outside and we have no other option, so please pray for good weather.

Saturday, June 25

                  Decorate downtown church

                  Go out door-to-door inviting kids to Downtown church VBS

                  2:30 VBS at Mother Church – day 2

                  Please pray for our time of recruiting to be very profitable and for many many kids to come to VBS.  Pray for kids at VBS to be saved.  Pray for us to handle the heat well and stay healthy.

Sunday, June 26

                  Teach Sunday School and do special music Mother Church service

                  2:30 VBS at Mother Church – day 3

                  6:00 Parent’s night at Mother Church

                  Please pray for parents to come to Parent’s night.  Pray for many salvation decisions and new families to become part of Mother Church. This is a very long day, pray for stamina and cheerfulness for our team. Pray for good weather.

Monday, June 27

                  Morning visits to public schools to invite kids to VBS

                  2:30 VBS at Downtown Church – day 1

                  Please pray for open doors into the school classrooms!  Pray for 300 kids for VBS!  Many challenges in the physical set up of Downtown church – everything except crafts will be held outside. Please pray for good weather and that the kids can see and hear. Pray for the public park to be available for us to use for game time. Pray for safety for our team. Ask the Holy Spirit to convict kids of their need to trust Christ as their Savior.

 Tuesday, June 28

                  Morning visits to more public schools to invite kids to VBS

                  2:30 VBS at Downtown Church – day 2

                  Please pray for open doors into the school classrooms and that we take full advantage of whatever opportunities we are given, and for boldness.

                  Pray for the kids to understand the gospel at VBS and get saved.

                  Pray for safety for our team and good weather.

Wednesday, June 29

                  Souvenir shopping

                  2:30 VBS at Downtown Church – day 3

                  Please pray for things to go well at VBS, for kids to trust Christ and want to serve Him. Pray for safety, stamina, cheerfulness and unity for our team. Pray for good weather.

Thursday, June 30

                  Sleep in. Pack up to be ready to move to El Progresso, a different city

                  2:30 VBS at Downtown Church – day 4

                  Halfway through this VBS ½ team will depart for El Progresso and the Teen Rally, which starts tonight at 6:00 p.m.

                  Remainder of team finishes day 4 of VBS

                  6:00 Parent’s Night Downtown Church

                  Remainder of team relocates to El Progresso

                  This will be our most challenging day.  Please keep us in mind and in prayer all afternoon and evening. Pray for extra National help this day, pray for safety on the road, the teen rally and the VBS to go well, for parents to attend, for crowd control of kids, and no rain.  Pray for salvation decisions for the parents. Pray for Pastor Willis as he preaches to the teens.

Friday, July 1

                  Go out door-to-door

                  6:00 Teen Rally

                  Pray for boldness and profitable recruiting, for many teens to attend, for Pastor Willis as he preaches, for stamina and unity for our team.  Safety during game times. Good health for team. Pray for good weather.

Saturday, June 2

                  10 a.m. Bible club with street kids

                  4:00 p.m. Teen Rally – longer event

                  Pray for boldness with the street kids and a fun Bible club day.  Pray for last night of Teen Rally for decisions to be made, and for Pastor Willis as he brings the message. 

Sunday, June 3

                  We teach all Sunday School classes

                  Sing and give testimonies in church service at Hope

                  Lunch with Hope of Honduras Children’s home kids (Sister to Hope Children’s home here in Tampa.

                  4:00 Youth Event

                  Please pray that we would be a blessing everywhere we go and in everything we say today. Pray we would bring glory to God.

Monday, June 4

                  Free day – fun surprise event for team

                  Please pray for safety and no mosquito bites. Pray for everyone to enjoy          this day of fun and relaxation.

Tuesday, July 5

                  Fly home, arrive 9 p.m.

                  Please pray for safety and that all our luggage comes home with us.

                  Pray for fruit that remains in Honduras!
