Yo Amo Honduras

When we were getting ready to go to Honduras, I was excited but really anxious. Going somewhere I've never been in an environment that's not really comfortable all the time kinda scared me. But right when we landed in Honduras I was overwhelmed with joy. After all the months of meetings and preparing, it was so exciting to actually get here! The first couple of days of VBS were crazy and tiring but also a lot of fun! All the kids were so sweet and understanding when I had no clue what they were saying in Spanish. I can understand and communicate the basics of things with the kids (thanks to Senora Perez!). It's really cool to be able to put what I have learned into practice and to be able to talk with the kids and the Nationals. I already really miss all the kids and the national helpers that were in my group! God has blessed us so much. The place we are staying at is great and the rooms have air conditioning which is amaaazzing, and the food has been absolutely delicious thanks to Miss Mary and Miss Ginger! I'm amazed at how God has taken care of us and provided for all of our needs. And we are only 3 days in so far! I can't wait to see what else He is going to do in the rest of the trip.
