I had to just stop and think what day it was. How could it be that yesterday was Sunday? So much happens in our day that they all seem to run together. Last night, Sunday night it seemed like Sunday morning was the day before!
Doing VBS and then simply moving into the Parent's Night is a challenge for all of us. Our team is working together very well and we just keep on pluggin' and plugging. We had about 7 minutes to eat a sandwich and then move things out of the three classrooms to put all the kids in them. Parent's went into the church and kids into crowded rooms. The kids all got great medals and wore then so proudly. They sang their songs and quoted their verses so nicely. It was a happy evening, despite the heat and controlled chaos.
We had to pack up our things from the "Mother" church to move today to the "Downtown" church.
I'll have to write more tomorrow and there's lots to say...but David has fallen asleep waiting for me to give him his laptop back....so see you tomorrow.
